Fleck ref

Aaand one for Fleck.

Griffon sisters based on tawny eagles. Their names are Goldie and Lilica.

box cat

some creature design sketches

Fun fact: this thing's filename is "dragon but its goat.png"

So, Dracula...

I've been reading original book, and I can't stop thinking about this paragraph:

because, uh...

Fleck

The griffon from Falconry Chronicles.

Sketch Roundup 2019

Various sketches and doodles from throughout the year, in approximate chronological order.

Vulture painting

A sketch of a bird

Some pangolins.

Asphodel Curie. Remember her from back in February?

I have no idea what GIMP filter I accidentally used for this, but it's neat.

Some void-creatures.

Someday I oughtta finish this one...

Dragons based on draco lizards.

A setting test.

Fleck from Falconry Chronicles

Avatar: The Last Airbender characters as dragons? Heck yeah. (Ft. Zuko, Aang, Toph, Katara, Azula)

Dr. Gaster from Undertale

An unfinished piece of Princess Luna from MLP:FiM

And, finally, another setting test

I drew this back in May and never got around to scanning it. I'm very happy with this one.

Old Undertale art

From back in 2016-2017. I have pages and pages of this stuff, but this is some of the best. (Warning: spoilers ahead, if you haven't played Undertale and intend to.)

Gaster follower 2 (May '17). Pencil, crayon, and watercolor, I believe.

Dragon Omega Flowey (Feb '17). Colored pencil.

A concept of Snowdrake from before Deltarune came out (Jan '17). Colored pencil.

Merry Christmas from the Gaster Squad! I think I was planning to do all of the Followers, but I never got around to it. Pencil, colored and regular.

Merry Christmas from Monster Kid and Goner Kid, too!

And finally, this. Starring Gaster Follower 3 and Napstablook.

Inktober day 30

Prompt: combo, from A.I. list 1.

Inktober day 23

Prompt: ancient, from the official Inktober list.

Inktober day 20

Prompt: supermassive fish, from A.I. list 2. The background was done digitally.

Inktober day 14

A mistwraith, from the Mistborn books. Prompt: amorphous, from the Cosmere list. And overgrown, from the official Inktober list. And sniff, from A.I.nktober list 1, and redeyed, from A.I. list 2, and tangentially hyper LARGE from A.I. list 3. Ha!

Inktober day 9

Sorry this is a day late. We were busy all of yesterday preparing for the snowstorm that hit today, and I couldn't find a spare moment to draw.

Anyway:

Prompt for this one was vengeful moon, from A.I.nktober list 3. This drawing's a sequel to astral egg, from day 4. All these weird giant space birds are phoenixes.

Oh, and hey! This is the 100th post on this blog! That's cool.

Inktober day 7

Prompt: damselcoiled, from A.I.nktober list 3. Loosely based on the Norwegian fairy tale "Prince Lindworm." Everyone's emotions ended up looking considerably less intense than I'd envisioned, but I kind of like this better.

Inktober day 6

Prompt: planetqueen, from A.I.nktober list 3. A companion to day 4's drawing, I think.

Inktober day 4

Prompt: astral egg, from the third A.I.nktober prompt list.

Inktober day 2

Prompt: watery discovery, from the second prompt list here.

More Falconry Chronicles stuff

I have tons of colored sketches now, but this is (I believe) the first pic I've done of this crew with cleaned-up linework and shading.

Bonus: Falc in a fancy dress. The skirt's got Gallifreyan writing on it. :D

Tashlin

One of my D&D characters: Tashlin, dragonborn bard and the last survivor of Clan Kalazeras. Dragonborn technically aren't supposed to have tails, I don't think, but I like her better with one.
