Cornflower Blues

 

More of the Falchron B-cast--Juniper Jade's twin sister, Cornflower Blues.

Magic-revealing spells are a popular party trick among students of the School for Gifted Unicorns. Of course, since unicorns generally already know the color of their magic, they're far more interesting when used in mixed-tribe or even mixed-species company. Pegasus (and griffon) magic tends to concentrate around the wings, earth pony magic around the hooves, and unicorn around the head and throat; all tribes' magic concentrates around the cutie mark.

He's Cornflower Blues' twin brother and I was gonna make him an artist but actually I think he might be like, a geophysicist or something

They revealed screenshots from MLP generation 5! Which of course means it's time for a G5-style Falconress.

Confetti, Feathering's town mage, plus an experiment with drawing Starlight Glimmer's time portal.

Princess Flurry Heart, canonicl daughter of Princess Cadence and Shining Armor, in a hypothetical future where she's ruler of Equestria. This series does feature time travel, after all....

Minor character Chef Buttercream, actually a changeling named Spiracle. She uses her shapeshifting powers to taste-test the foods she makes for a wide range of species. Her restaurant is one of the best places in Equestria to get non-pony foods. Idk if she'll ever actually show up; she's mostly just set dressing. I like her, though.

Created for my own personal reference, but it seemed worth sharing. Featuring the main cast (including Hephaesta, who hasn't shown up yet) plus a Dalek, Princess Celestia, and potential side character Wulfric Thomas.

Actual pages are still coming, just slowly.

The Princess of Decay

An MLP OC I came up with last month: the alicorn in charge of maintaining the cycle of death and regrowth in the face of a society that not only controls its entire ecosystem, but also possesses magic powerful enough to manipulate time. 

She isn't part of the governmental structure of Equestria, although she is an ally to the royal family, and prefers to work in solitude much of the time. Her duties include insuring that wildfires happen often enough to maintain a healthy ecosystem, making sure things grow back properly after natural disasters, keeping ponies from figuring out immortality spells, and repeatedly explaining that yes, carnivores are necessary.

She doesn't have a name yet because there are no synonyms for "decay" with positive connotations. I'd like to have her show up in Falchron at some point.

One last Falchron filler sketch--this time the Falconress as a more realistically proportioned pony. (I hesitate to say she's wholly realistic, as she is still bright red with wings.)
