Magic-revealing spells are a popular party trick among students of the School for Gifted Unicorns. Of course, since unicorns generally already know the color of their magic, they're far more interesting when used in mixed-tribe or even mixed-species company. Pegasus (and griffon) magic tends to concentrate around the wings, earth pony magic around the hooves, and unicorn around the head and throat; all tribes' magic concentrates around the cutie mark.

Bonus: unglowy version

Juniper Jade

I don't know why the least-developed of the Falchron B-cast gets a ref next, instead of like...North Dancer or someone, but I felt like drawing him, so here we are. He's Cornflower Blues' twin brother and I was gonna make him an artist but actually I think he might be like, a geophysicist or something

Notebook doodles of the 1st Falconress (with cameos from various supporting cast), done during a camp earlier this summer.

Fleck

but like fancy now.

I promised comic last month "unless something drastic happens" and then re-injured my hand tearing cardboard. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

More human!Falc

At the request of my little sister, Falc in formalwear with her elder sister, the Magician. Falc is on the right in purple.

The character of the Magician came from my little sister and worked so well that she got adopted into the mythos. Hopefully I can find a place to work her into the story, 'cause she's cool.

...Three drawings I actually like of humanoids in two days? How did this happen?

Some human!Falconress

Wearing the outfit I designed for her third form, back when I was eleven and had plans for like five seasons of this.

Operastalker pt3

(pt1 pt2)

Some masquerade costumes and some setting practice.

Clockwise from top left: Whiteout, the Phantom, Listener, Clearsight, Foeslayer, Arctic

Clearsight/Christine in the opera house auditorium

A handful of setting studies: the underground lake (ft. Fathom and Darkstalker), the opera house's Grand Staircase (ft. Whiteout), and the rooftop (ft. Listener and Clearsight).

One last Falchron filler sketch--this time the Falconress as a more realistically proportioned pony. (I hesitate to say she's wholly realistic, as she is still bright red with wings.)

Happy Friday! Have some more Falconry Chronicles filler content. Specifically a rough sketch of the Falconress doing some falconry.

The Falconress and her TARDIS

Since I posted that last page and my brain immediately went, "What? No, you're not allowed to stop drawing these characters." Which is probably a good sign for this project's long-term success.

Bonus: a sketch of a very wet Fleck

The Falconry Chronicles: Page 2

Boy, these are interesting times, huh? Hope everyone's doing well in relative isolation, and also washing their hands lots.

Current plan with these is to upload a page every Friday. We'll see if I can maintain that pace.

The Falconry Chronicles: Page 1

Here we go.

Page 1 of that project I mentioned...Friday the 13th seems like an auspicious date to start something, right?

Introducing The Falconry Chronicles, the Doctor Who/My Little Pony crossover fancomic I've been plotting off and on since I was ten. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Pulelehua

The pen-and-watercolor sketches for a Wings of Fire fan continent I was working on, uhh...a year ago today, apparently. Huh.

I haven't thought about this setting for a while, so we'll see if I remember any of the details. Rambling under the cut.
